Sunny Street ("we," "our," or "us") sends SMS/text messages to users who have explicitly consented to receive them. This policy explains how we collect consent, what messages we send, and how users can stop receiving messages at any time.
We only send SMS/text messages to users who have given us clear, explicit permission. Consent for text messaging is collected separately from our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
When you enter your phone number during sign-up or event check-in, you will see the following consent language displayed on-screen before you proceed:
"By entering your phone number and tapping Continue, you agree to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Sunny Street at the number provided. Messages may include account verification codes, event reminders, auction updates, and bidding notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (typically 1–10 messages per week). Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. This consent is not a condition of purchase or service."
This language appears prominently on the phone number entry screen, not buried in Terms of Service or a Privacy Policy.
During web registration, users see a clearly labeled, unchecked opt-in checkbox with the following language adjacent to it:
"☐ I agree to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Sunny Street, including account alerts, event updates, and auction notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."
Users must actively check this box to provide consent. It is never pre-checked.
Once you opt in, you may receive the following categories of SMS/text messages from Sunny Street:

You may opt out at any time using any of the following methods:
Opt-out requests are processed immediately. Please allow up to 24 hours for all systems to reflect the change.
